Graduated in law, with studies in intelligence analysis and National Defense from the Higher Center for National Defense Studies, he began his professional career in the Communication department of the Popular Party before soon making the leap to political advising in the president of the party's cabinet, Mariano Rajoy, until the general elections of 2011. In 2012, he joined President Rajoy's team also in Moncloa, first as chief of staff of the National Security Director and later as chief of staff of the Secretary of State - Director of the Cabinet of the President of the Government - Secretary of the National Security Council. He was deputy director of the general campaigns of the Popular Party in 2015 and 2016, as well as a member of the various Campaign Committees during the period 2014-2018. In the private sector, he co-founded the consulting firm Public by Shackleton, of which he took over as general director, combining it with the direction of the Communication division of that same group, Buzz and Press, for more than 4 years. Currently, he teaches postgraduate classes at the International University of La Rioja and at Rey Juan Carlos University in Madrid. He is a member of the Advisory Committee of the Master's degree in Political and Corporate Communication at the University of Navarra, and author of various publications in different media at the national level. Some of his projects have been recognized nationally and internationally. He has two Napolitan Victory Awards awarded by the “Washington Academy of Political Arts & Sciences” for his work on electoral campaigns. He has also directed award-winning projects by the CdeC, El Sol, D&AD, and ECHO Awards, among others. The magazine Washington Compol included him in the list of “The 100 Most Influential Professionals in Political Communication.”
